Inglewood United is proud to announce an official partnership with Dave Whalley Goalkeeping that will have player development at the forefront of the relationship.   Dave Whalley Goalkeeping is West Australia’s premier development program for goalkeepers of all skill levels and from all clubs, aged 9 to 30.

The partnership provides Dave Whalley Goalkeeping a central base for their program, namely Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium.   In return Inglewood’s players will have ready access to the knowledge, expertise and training techniques gained by Dave Whalley during a 40-year association with the specialist role.

Club President Cesare Colli is delighted to welcome Dave Whalley Goalkeeping to Inglewood.   “We are thrilled to have joined forces with a football leader like Dave Whalley Goalkeeping,” Colli said.   “Our partnership is fantastic news for not only Inglewood United, but for goalkeepers from all clubs across the metropolitan area.”

“Dave Whalley Goalkeeping has a genuine enthusiasm and long-term vision to strengthen the abilities of all goalkeepers, and this partnership takes them one step closer to achieving that.   Dave’s knowledge, ability and experience will provide those he works with the best possible tools for their development.”

David Whalley, a FFA Advanced Level 2 Goalkeeping Award holder, said the partnership was a significant step for his growing business.   “I am really pleased that Inglewood United has partnered with Dave Whalley Goalkeeping to assist with the development of West Australian goalkeepers,” Whalley commented.

“This alliance provides Dave Whalley Goalkeeping the opportunity to utilise the excellent facilities at Inglewood and to offer modern, up-to-date goalkeeper coaching at a central location.   There are benefits to be had by goalkeepers of all abilities and from the entire metropolitan area thanks to this partnership.”

From taking the gloves at school to a twenty-year playing career that included three years with English club Blackburn Rovers, to coaching juniors and seniors as well as establishing the Goalkeeper Centre of Excellence, Whalley is the highest qualified and experienced development goalkeeping coach in West Australia.
