Technical Director Alex Stanojevic has labelled last month’s Junior National Premier Leagues trials a success.   Over 130 young hopefuls gave their all in an attempt to secure a place in Inglewood United’s Under-13 to Under-16 teams for the 2019 season.

“The coaching staff have commented positively on the quality of this year’s triallists,” Stanojevic said.   “The calibre of play was up on recent years and it showed through the performances of each player … our selectors have had a difficult time settling on their squads.”

“I would like to thank all the players for their efforts and also their parents, many of who travelled long distances to highlight to us how talented their sons and daughter are.”   All triallists will be notified of their successes, or otherwise, within the fortnight.
