Preseason Friendly – Inglewood United SC (NPL) v Perth Glory (A-League)
Tuesday 15th July 2014 – Kick Off 7pm – Intiga Stadium
Inglewood United will pit their skills against a new-look Perth Glory outfit for the inaugural Kramer Memorial Cup this week. The friendly at Intiga Stadium on Tuesday, 15 July (7.00pm kick-off), is being held in honour of former Inglewood player, coach and administrator Siggy Kramer, who sadly passed away last weekend.
It will be the first chance to see the fruits of an active recruitment drive by Glory, whose signings include Republic of Ireland striker Andy Keogh plus Australian internationals Richard Garcia, Dino Djulbic and Mitch Nichols to the club. Former Inglewood defender Jack Clisby is also part of the Glory squad.
This week’s game will be the eleventh meeting of Inglewood and Glory, the latter claiming victory on each previous occasion. The most recent of these took place in September 2012 when Steve McGarry and Jacob Burns scored twice each with Nick Ward getting the remainder in a 5-0 win.
