Glittering Night For Junior Stars

nicholasThe future stars of Inglewood United celebrated the season that was at the clubs annual Junior Awards ceremony on Saturday night. Close to 300 players, parents, coaches, team and club officials gathered at the Alexander The Great Club, in Dianella, to honour the achievers and achievements of 2014.

“In a year of consolidation, we have as a club achieved a lot and it culminated in a very successful awards night on Saturday,” said juniors’ president Dave Ewen. “I’ve very happy with the improvement we have seen in the juniors this year … future looks very bright indeed for 2015.”

Teenager Nicholas Femia’s dedication to Inglewood was recognised with the inaugural Siggy Kramer Junior Clubperson of the Year award. Femia, who keeps goal for the Under-16s National Premier Leagues team, assisted with the Under-16s Community Team while sidelined by injury.

The stand-out performers for our National Premier Leagues and Community Teams were also honoured. The individual trophy recipients for each team are –
