As we start to head towards the festive season, I want to take the opportunity to write to you with an update on what’s happening here at Inglewood United SC.

It’s been a few months since the 2015 season came to an end, but that period has been anything but quiet with a lot of work done in preparation for 2016 by a lot of people.

Our National Premier Leagues coaches are all in place, squads have been selected and everyone is champing at the bit for the start of pre-season training.

There has been much change with the first team with the welcome addition of experienced coach Taki Nicolaidis along with a host of new signings, who we all look forward to seeing in action during the Night Series.

Away from the pitch, everyone continues to work tirelessly to improve all aspects of the club.   Roofing and air-conditioning repairs in the club house are expected to be completed by the time the new league season commences.

The main playing surface has been re-turfed and reticulation upgraded.   Works on new storage area underneath the Grandstand are scheduled for completion by late January, and new perimeter fencing is due to be installed in February.

I would like to thank our loyal group of volunteers, team coaches and Committee members for the many hours of hard work they are putting in behind the scenes to ensure 2016 is a success.
