Inglewood United have been confirmed to begin the 2016 National Premier Leagues with a home clash against Floreat Athena, following today’s release of new season fixtures.
Taki Nicolaidis’ charges open their campaign against Floreat on 19 March before heading out on the road for a run of three games which takes them to Balcatta (23 March), Perth Glory (2 April) and neighbouring Bayswater City (9 April).
Mid-season highlights include blockbuster showdowns at Inglewood Stadium against Perth SC (28 May) and Bayswater (2 July). Our season concludes on home soil against ECU Joondalup on the final weekend in August.
The team which tops the league ladder after 22 home-and-away games fixtures will be crowned champions and represent Western Australia in the NPL National Finals Series.
A reintroduced Top Four Cup series brings the 2016 season to a close across the opening fortnight of September.
