CLISBY OFF TO WESTERN SYDNEY

Clisby believes he will fit in well at Western Sydney.   “Players at the Wanderers really work for each other, the Club always has a solid game plan and from an outsider’s perspective you can see a really good team chemistry which I can’t wait to be a part of,” said Clisby.

“I feel I can learn a lot under Tony Popovic.   The Wanderers are a very competitive club and I would like to take my game to the next level and contribute to that.   It’s going to be a new experience for me, a new challenge and I’m looking forward to it.   I’m very excited and I can’t wait to get to Western Sydney and join the group.”

Clisby shot prominence in 2012 with Inglewood, winning that year’s Gold Medal and a few months later signing his first professional deal with Perth Glory.   The hard-working defender gained 31 league and cup outing with Glory before a January 2015 switch to Melbourne, where he made a further 36 appearances.
