Inglewood United is pleased to confirm the re-appointment of Taki Nicolaidis as Head Coach for the 2017 National Premier Leagues season. Nicolaidis stepped into the role eight months ago and under his stewardship Inglewood enjoyed their best season in two decades, claiming second place in the league and qualifying for the Grand Final.
Club President Ces Colli says the solid foundations Nicolaidis put in place this year, on and off the field of play, will ensure Inglewood’s continued growth and ongoing success. “As a Board we are working hard to create a Club that is respected both on and off the park with a winning culture, long-term success and stability,” Colli said.
“Whilst we fell short of winning a trophy in 2016, we have learnt lessons as a group that will make us stronger going forward. Taki has been one of the key individuals taking the Club forward in 2016, driving the culture that as a Club we want to develop and instil in all our players, members and supporters.”
“Taki is the right person to continue driving our Club forward. His ability to develop a strong team ethos, realise the potential of players and deliver coaching methods that enhance performance make him the only choice for Inglewood. We now look forward to 2017 with Taki at the helm and have faith that together we will achieve the success we are striving towards.”
