Inglewood United has appointed Alex Stanojevic as its new Technical Director, in a move which reinforces the club’s commitment to providing the best possible coaching. Stanojevic, who has an extensive background in youth development, will oversee the ongoing implementation of the Club’s vision and playing philosophy.
Stanojevic, a Football Federation Australia ‘B’ Licence holder, has coached at junior and senior levels in Western Australia and Queensland across the past twenty years. His background is highlighted by a five-year spell at Brisbane City, where he coached boys and girls teams, plus a stint with the West Ham United Academy.
Club President Ces Colli says Stanojevic’s move into the Technical Director role provides Inglewood a solid base from which to continue our push towards providing players a pathway from junior to senior football. “We are delighted to have Alex Stanojevic head up our player and coach development structures,” Colli said.
“Alex has a strong passion for player and coach development and a wide range of experience in supporting, motivating and educating players and coaches that will allow him to perform this role to a very high level. We are looking forward eagerly to seeing the development of our teams and the direction Alex takes us in.”
“I also thank our out-going Technical Director Scott Richardson for his dedication and the countless hours he has put in over the past twelve months. Scott will always be part of the Inglewood United family and remains welcome at Inglewood Stadium. We wish him every success in the future.”
Stanojevic will work closely with our National Premier Leagues, Development and Mini-Roos coaches to deliver high-quality coaching programs, which underpins how well Inglewood’s players develop and progress. The Clubs’ 2017 National Premier Leagues coaching structure will be revealed in full next month.
