A NEW LOOK FOR A NEW ERA

2016_10_26_inglewood_united_crestInglewood United is pleased to unveil a new club crest which will be worn for the first time in the 2017 National Premier Leagues season.   The new crest takes its inspiration from across our seven decades, incorporating symbols, references and colours drawn from the Club’s long and illustrious history.

Inglewood president Ces Colli said the design has found the right balance in respecting the Club’s past with the now.   “The team looked at our Club crest from every era in coming up with the final design,” he explained.   “The brief was to recognise the past while providing a modern view.   I feel we have achieved that.”

Breaking down the new Inglewood United crest –

  • 1951 recognises the year of our foundation
  • the blue and yellow colours provide a nod to our Ukrainian heritage
  • the crest shape and background sash are reminiscent of the original club logo
  • the ‘shield and three footballs’ are drawn from our most successful era, the late 1970s/early 1980s

The new crest will feature on all branding central to Inglewood, including all on-field apparel, training and polo shirts worn by playing and coaching staff at all levels of the Club.
