Inglewood United will make their 2017 Night Series debut on Sunday with a home fixture against Sorrento. It will be the first competitive outing of the year for Inglewood’s players, who have been put through their paces over the past eight-weeks by Taki Nicolaidis and his coaching team.
Sorrento kicked off the tournament on the weekend by edging out Perth Glory 1-0, Billy Quinncroft the scorer of the solitary goal early in the second half. Sunday’s Inglewood-Sorrento fixture at Perth Plasterboard Stadium will be preceded by Bayswater City verses ECU Joondalup.
The 2017 Night Series is being played under a knock-out format, with games that finish level at the end of regulation time settled via a penalty shoot-out. The National Premier Leagues website has the full list of Night Series fixtures.
