A late revival lead by Hamza Hina earned Inglewood United a 4-4 draw from a pulsating encounter with Cockburn City at Dalmatinac Park. Inglewood’s first point of the new league season came via a double by Hina, including a 97th minute equaliser, and singles to Sammie Riak and Chok Dau.
Hina gave the visitors a dream start by firing past goalkeeper Luke Radonich after only 5 minutes after being afforded space on the edge of the 18-yard box. Cockburn responded through Robinson, who two minutes later converted from the penalty spot before putting away his second midway through the half.
And it looked as through the hosts had the game in the bag when Ryan Pratt made it three-one shortly after the interval. Riak put Inglewood back in the content by tapping in at close-range on the hour. Dau then levelled proceedings on 83 minutes by rounding Radonich to tuck into an empty net.
Cockburn regained the upper hand when Robinson converted his second penalty in the final minute of regulation time. Hina, however, had no intention of going home empty handed and deep in stoppage time the attacker netted a stunning second and much deserved goal.
