Livewire attacker Chok Dau has returned for a second spell with Inglewood United after agreeing terms for the 2019 National Premier Leagues season. The Kenya-born attacker was previously with the club in 2017 when his pace and flair wide on the right were instrumental in Inglewood placing second in the league.
Dau’s efforts didn’t go unnoticed and soon after the season ended he was rewarded with a spot in Perth Glory’s 2017/18 National Youth League squad. The 19-year old continued his development this winter by starring for Glory’s NPL side and a place in the senior squad that toured Malaysia in August.
“I’m happy to be back at Inglewood and are really excited for the upcoming season,” commented Dau, who made 24 appearances for the club in his previous spell. “I enjoyed the season I spent here a couple of years back, the lads are welcoming and allow me to play my best football.”
“I met with the new coach, Tim Morgan, about his plans for 2019, was impressed with what I heard. The club is ambitious, they’re always up there competing for the league title and they play good football. I can’t wait to get back into it and do my bit to help drive us into the finals.”
