Inglewood United’s passage to pre-season glory has been mapped out with the release of fixtures for the 2019 National Premier Leagues Night Series. New coach Trim Morgan has been hard at work with is squad during the past six weeks and the fruits of those labours will be revealed later this month.
The 2019 Night Series returns to the traditional format is two groups of six teams, with the top two sides from each group progressing to the knock-out stage. Inglewood have been allocated a spot in Pool A alongside Sorrento, Stirling Lions, Rockingham City, ECU Joondalup and Perth SC.
Inglewood’s Night Series schedule is –
Friday 25 January (6:30pm) – Inglewood United vs Sorrento at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium, Inglewood
Friday 1 February (6:30pm) – Inglewood United vs Stirling Lions at Percy Doyle Reserve, Duncraig
Saturday 9 February (7:00pm) – Inglewood United vs Rockingham City at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium, Inglewood
Friday 15 February (6:30pm) – Inglewood United vs ECU Joondalup at Frank Drago Reserve, Bayswater
Friday 22 February (6:30pm) – Inglewood United vs Perth SC at Percy Doyle Reserve, Duncraig
The top two teams from each qualifying group qualifies for the Semi-Finals, to be played on Saturday 2nd March. The 2019 Night Series Final will be contested on Saturday 9th March. The venues for the Semi-Finals and Final are yet to be decided.
