Inglewood United will host A-League club Perth Glory in a friendly next Wednesday, 19 July, at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium.   It will be the first chance local football fans will get to see Glory’s 2017/18 line-up which includes Spanish maestro Diego Castro, former Republic of Ireland international and current coach of Inglewood Andy Keogh, team captain Rostyn Griffiths plus off-season recruit Scott Neville.

This week’s game will be the fourteenth meeting between Inglewood and Glory with the ledger firmly in the latter’s favour having won twelve of those games.   Inglewood’s solitary success came in July 2014 when they out-shot Glory 4-3 on penalties to win the Kramer Memorial Cup.   The most recent meeting, in July 2015, ended in a 4-0 win to Glory.
