STAJIC DEPARTS

2014_07_05_Inglewood_v_Armadale_1564We wish to inform the Inglewood United Community that Goran Stajic has advised the Club of his decision to decline our coaching offer for season 2016. Stajic has been part of the Club for the past three years, most recently as Technical Director, a role he recently stepped down from to return to coaching, where his true passion lies.

Stajic joined Inglewood in 2013, initially as assistant coach of the Under-18s, and the following year accepted the position of inaugural Technical Director. During his two years in the role Stajic guided the development of the Clubs junior coach’s, oversaw the implementation of FFA’s National Curriculum and was a key figure in the growth of Inglewood’s junior’s programme.

Stajic’s passion and desire to move back into a hands-on coaching role made the Club’s decision to offer him a coaching role in the senior’s set-up for 2016 an easy call to make. We are disappointed that Stajic, who initially accepted the 2016 coaching position, has now declined this offer.

Whilst we are disappointed, we understand and respect Goran’s decision and thank him for his hard work, vision and devotion during his last three years with Inglewood. We wish Goran and his family all the very best for the future – Inglewood’s door will always be open to you.
