The Institute will offer age-appropriate coaching to boys and girls aged between 5 and 15 years old in line with Football Federation Australia’s National Curriculum, with a focus on controlled ball possession and attacking football.

“The establishment of the Inglewood Football Institute is an exciting step forward for our club,” said Inglewood Technical Director Goran Stajic. “Our goal is to provide every child the opportunity to play football, regardless of skill level, and foster a love for the world game which will endure long after they have left junior sport.”

“The Institute strives to develop dedicated players who are willing to learn to play the most attractive and exciting brand of football, with creativity, energy and passion,” added Stajic. “The development of the individual, through building self-confidence, leadership and team skills, is also very much at the forefront of our plans.”

The focus for ages 5 to 11 is on Fun, Activity, Safety and Teaching – aka FAST. Those aged 12 to 15 participate in the PASS program where the emphasis is on Passion, Attitude, Sacrifice and Success. These attributes enhance player development in a non-competitive environment and bring into focus the individuals skill set and growth.

The Institute will operate year-round across the four school terms. The combined effect of structured training cycles, accredited coaches, sports science, well-maintained playing fields and quality equipment ensures optimal conditions for young players to be the best they possibly can.

Enrolment in the Institute includes –

• 1 training session per week throughout the term
• exclusive Inglewood Football Institute training jacket, shirt, shorts and socks
• personalised written evaluation report each semester
• sports nutrition information
• free entry to all home Inglewood United National Premier Leagues fixtures for 1 Child and 1 Adult
• all sessions will be delivered on the main pitch at Intiga Stadium

Enrolments for the initial term, which commences the first week of February 2015, are limited and filling fast. To book your place in the Inglewood Football Institute visit www.ifi.net.au
