Czech attacker Zdenek Bezdek intends to make his mark at Inglewood United this winter.   The strongly built 28-year old made his Inglewood debut on the weekend, just days after agreeing terms with the club for the 2019 National Premier Leagues season.

“I’m very happy to be a part of Inglewood United,” commented Bezdek.   “The club has a professional approach, a great squad, a good stadium and plays good quality football.   The team is well-balanced with experienced players and some talented youngsters.”

“Everyone is motivated and we are looking forward to the season, there are positive vibes all across the club and I’m sure we will do well.   Personally, I’d like to give all NPL fans a reason to remember my name but, more importantly, I’m here to score goals and help Inglewood to win games.”

Bezdek, whose father played professionally in Czechoslavakia, was a teenager when he started out with FC Banik Ostrava.   Stints with Jakubcovice Fotbal, FC Sparta Brno, SK Lisen and MSK Breclav were followed by a 2013 move to Western Australia where he was with Floreat Athena for two seasons.
